Nature Club

Clearing up leaves at Bromham MillLower Farm Road Nature Reserve recording butterflies in the meadow

The nature club is a voluntary group and is part of the friends of Bromham mill. The group meets once a month on a Sunday afternoon between 2-4 pm all year round. The group started in May 2011 with 20 children and parents.

The group has a membership of 25 families and is for children aged 5 years upwards. A parent or guardian needs to accompany a child under 10 years.

There is a joining fee of £5 which includes a welcome pack and then it's £1 per child per session attended .

Each session we explore a certain topic followed by a craft activity. For example we planted bluebell bulbs in the Bromham mill site followed by craft spiders and bats. We have experts give talks on various animals and insects and on some sessions we go up to the nature reserve. We want the children to enjoy being outside and learn about nature within the Bromham mill site and the nature reserve.

There is a waiting list for places so if your child wants to join please email Anne at baker.bannerman@btinternet.com or text 07900810937
