Bromham Allotments Association

 

Saturday 4th June - the Flying Scotsman passed the allotments on our Open Day. 

Sunday 10th July - Bromham show - We had a very successful Tombola and Book Stall and raised £229 for our funds.  Thank you to all those who supported us.  The Bromham Allotments Cup, awarded to the Association Member gaining the highest number of points across all classes, was won by Judy Hammond and The Robert Skinner Cup for Vegetables was won by Jan Oliver.

It will cost you just £5 to become a member and be added to the list of those wanting to 'grow their own'.

 

The allotments are situated at the far end of Lower Farm Road near to the railway line.  The cost of a full plot (10 pole/250 sq mtrs) will be £50 p.a. or a half plot (5 pole/125 sq mtrs) will cost £25 p.a.  A fully refundable deposit of £20 will also be taken to cover loss of key/plot left in good condition.  Payment will be needed and a Tenancy Agreement signed before the plot is taken.  

 

There is adequate hard standing for car parking on site and there is also be a community orchard and picnic area.  There is also a building available for storage and water and there is a toilet.  Just outisde the building are large containers for rainwater storage.
