What is P3?

Our local environmental and conservation group – volunteers who like getting involved, making things better, getting things done and having fun as well!

What do we do?

We tackle all sorts of jobs to tidy, conserve or improve public spaces in the village, plant bulbs and trees, monitor local wildlife and organise illustrated presentations on wildlife and conservation. Activities during 2009 included:

  • Bat spotting at Bromham Mill and in Bromham Park
  • Moth trapping at Bromham Nature Reserve
  • A village litter pick
  • Clearing woodland rides and paths in Salem Thrift and Mill Meadow
  • Illustrated talks on the midwife toad and British wildlife
  • Planting spring bulbs with help from local Brownies and Beavers
  • Leading walks from Bromham to Stevington on National Mills Days

Where do we work?

Any public space in Bromham that needs tidying or conservation.

See Calendar page for further details.

Our meetings and activities are open to all. There is no membership fee. Further details are circulated regularly to supporters by email or by a flyer through the door, and are posted on our website. Join us and make a difference to your village!
